Has anyone had surgery or treatment for Cushings? - I know its very rare, and I've done plenty googling so understand the condition fully, but would really appreciate info from anyone on here that has been through treatment. Cheers

The op to remove it is not straight-forward, therefore I was hoping someone on here may come on and tell me they had undergone this treatment and had a good result......... I suppose deep down I need some reassurance right now as it all seems a bit grim. Thanks for your concern.
Called Pituitary Adenoma.....yes, the operation to remove it straight forward....can be approached via the nose, or the inside of the eye socket or raising a frontal bone flap. Can even be approached through the mouth. The approach will depend upon the size of the tumour and whether a Neurosurgeon will do it or an ENTsurgeon.
Don't worry technically it is straight forward.
