Vehicle lease - my car doesn't exist !
1 Answers
In May I ordered a new Volvo through an independent broker and was financed through Lombard. The car arrived the second week in September.
Since then Lombard have failed to claim any payment - 3 months worth if they don't claim their payment next week.
I've rang Lombard 3 times to try and make a debit payment to catch up and ask them to claim their money, but.... they say my car doesn't exist.
What are my legal rights and can I cancel the contract without it affecting my credit rating or my ability to lease another car ?
Although I have 3 copies of my contract with Lombard, they claim the broker hasn't sent them the appropriate paperwork.. and yet the didn't even seem to know which broker it was, and I've had to give Lombard the brokers details each of the 3 times I've tried to resolve the issue.
Although I'd be happy if they just sorted the issue out, I'd be better if I could change the car as I now have a bigger budget and regret not getting something sportier...
