Does anyone else find playing Mario Kart on their Wii gives them shooting pains in the head? I think my OH thinks I am making it up?

I get motion sickness from playing/watching first person shooters on the 360,my family think it's hilarious! I've never played on a Wii though so have no idea about the head pains.

Its little shooting pains and then a sense of not quite being here, if that makes sense.

What you described sounds very like the epileptic absences that my cousin used to have from flashing lights etc.Have you seen your doctor about it? and has anything else ever caused the same symptoms?

No, nothing else has caused symptoms like this. I suffer from migraines though. My OH bought the Wii, its not really my cup of tea but I thought I should try and join in. Even slower games make me feel a little strange but its the one where the cars are wizzing round thats the worst.
