Please can anyone help me identify Picture 5, which is of a fat male cartoon character with white beard, holding a microphone, wearing striped top, red and white polka dotted shorts, standing by the sea, in front of a large white cloud. He is wearing a white sun hat, also, with I like it written on it, and resembles a jolly fisherman type of character.
If I knew who the cartoon character is, it should be possible to deduce the title of a film connected to Christmas.

It sounds like you are describing Raymond Briggs Father Christmas goes on holiday its a book not a film but his Father Christmas and Father Christmas goes on holiday were made into one film. I think you'll find its an ice cream not a microphone lol Try googling the title under images and you'll be able to check if its the same picture you are describing. Hope it helps

yes it is raymond briggs father christmas, i took ages getting that one. the only one i cant get is the next one after that, which has awee gremlin type picture, any ideas!?

no wonder smouse is laughing! I have had everybody visiting our house over the last three weeks looking at that still, and although gremlins was the obvious answer i could never find the still tp match this picture. thanks for your input.
