If I purchase a free view digital tv recorder, will I be able to record programmes from my sky box ?
If this is possible it will save me around �100 as sky charge �210 for a sky plus box and installation, but a free view box is only around �100 with no installation.
Advice on this subject will be gratefully received.
PS please inform me if I will require any more scart leads !

You can only record the channels that you can watch on Freeview with a freeview box. To watch and record SKY you would have to have the SKY plus box installed and working seperate from the freeview box.
