Hey everyone, im looking for a prom dress, preferably one that dosent come from Debenhams, Monsoon or H&M. Does anyone know where I can get one, with a cost upto about �120.00? Please help, stressed, and so is my man! Lol. xXx

I suppose that depends where you live, what style of clothes you like to wear and how long you have until your prom.

Personally I'd recommed looking in vintage clothes shops.  There's bound to be one or two if you live in a city. You'll be able to find some truely unique dresses and make sure no one is wearing the same thing.  Check in your local yellow pages. Alternatively look online, as long as you have time to return it incase the size isn't right etc.  I'm sure you don't need to spend nearly as much as �120 to find a dress you love.

try tk maxx (sp?) i picked one up from there the other week for �30 and it's even nicer than the �160 dress i persuaded my dad to buy me from coast (which is also definitely worth a look).

Have you tried ebay?  Or how about getting one made from a pattern?

I've hired dresses in the past - I'm not really the type to get more than one wear a year out of a posh dress and so it worked out a bit cheaper. They have some stunning stuff sometimes designer - way more than i could ever have afforded to buy. I thought it might be a bit ming but it was really good. Have a look in yellow pages.
