Hi onlyme,
Glad you had a good Christmas. I too ate far too much, using the excuse that I was eating for two lol. I've also eaten far too many chocs and biscuits! Oh well, I'll deal with it after bubs comes.
Only 3 more days to wait to meet bambino now though. Going in for a c-section on Tuesday as the little ****** refuses to turn round! I'm really nervous. (understatement!) More of the spinal anesthetic than the actual operation itself. It'll all be worth it though.
This time next week I'll be a Mummy!! Woo!

Also...I've curiously developed a craving for hoola hoops dipped in melted chocolate! Yum! Plain ones obviously, the other flavours would just be gross.
Glad you had a nice day onlyme - your daughters last one as an only child!

lollyone - don't worry about the section or the spinal, I had 2 sections, the first an emergency one after a very long labour and the other a planned section as it was only 13 months after my first and as the same was happening with the 2nd pregnancy - large baby lying back to back.

My second planned section was a really easy straightforward experience, it is quite routine to the hospital and the spinal was great, you cant feel a thing other than general pressure or pulling - no pain at all.

Recovery rates are so much better now as well, I came out after 2 days with both sections, and that seems to be pretty much the norm now.

I had to laugh when they tell you not to lift anything heavy and then hand you a 10lb baby!

All the best for Tuesday - let us know how you get on.

ohh thanks guys,

yeah i was told i may have to have a c section as my placenta is very low, they said chances are it will be ok by the time the baby comes, go to go for another scan in 2 months time, but if its still low i have to have a c-section,

must admit, id rather have all the pain of a natural birth, but you cant do anything can you, just go with the flow, looking forward to seeing my baby, tho i have a wee bit longer to wait! lol

anyway good luck xx
