Hi elizad27,
I recall seeing a print in a pub in Driffield, East Yorkshire. It depicts a Hurricane (I think) or maybe a Spitfire, seen through the broken glass window of a WW2 RAF Control Tower. The area of the picture where the glass is broken reveals a 1940 image, as if seen 'live' at that time: the area where the glass is intact shows the interior of the Control Tower 'live' at the time of painting the picture, maybe 30 years after the war ended. ..
IF YOU WOULD CARE TO SELL IT TO ME, I WOULD BE VERY INTERESTED, but I have no idea of its value. What number (of how many) is the print?
Rgds.

Martynemh, so sorry i haven't got back to you, been having a lot of problems with computer. The picture is my husbands, the artist is Fred Groves(not Greaves) as i previously said. It is numbered 139/500 & signed. My husband also had his on display in a pub in Easingwold North Yorkshire. He would be interested in selling it, but we too have no idea of its value. Have you heard of anything since this posting?
I think my question may have been closed by accident so if you have problems replying please use [email protected] thanks
