going for a walk after a meal

is it good to go for a walk after a meal? I usually have my lunch at my desk but try to get out for a bit of a walk too in my lunch hour. Would it be better to go for a walk and then eat, or eat and then go for a walk?

I read in a newspaper a while ago where it said it ws best to go for a walk before a meal rather than after.

OR you could go out and walk to the sandwich shop, eat your lunch in the park (or something) and walk back to work! Best of all worlds!
