MM Links Solutions December 2008 [Week 4]

As Lady Slaney gets ever closer to the South Pole, her generosity knows no bounds as points are distributed right, left and centre for correct predictions during Week 4. I am pleased to announce her chosen links based on the theme of

Verse and Worse

This week, the early entrants filled their boots with points initially from NURSERY RHYME as Dinkypuzzled opened his account ~ only to be followed by evsajo, ulysses100 & fordward in quick succession to claim their TWO POINTS. Around the same time, the astute Christiana cashed in her BLANK VERSE to clear the way for more bonuses.

And (double) bonuses were earned by the doughty lysander & sarumite, each claiming FOUR POINTS as the points continued to flow. By now, we were looking for a new correct link word for fresh bonuses, and we didn�t have long to wait. At 09.05, Entrant #12 in the guise of beejay1124 came in with Nursery Rhyme and the new PLIMSOLL LINE to claim THREE POINTS.

We were well into the morning, whenmiss meg claimed the very last hit with PHOTO METER and with another Blank Verse (for good measure) to claim yet another THREE POINTS. Many players picked up points, among which gonesailing, Dustybun, Grenmus, roslyn251254, patchett & Shazza scored Two Points.

Of all the high scorers, one entrant managed to register three hits (for Three Points) and that was teacher1 who I am pleased to nominate as
HOT SHOT OF THE WEEK!

However, there is more at state at this point in the proceedings. The top of the League Table after this fourth and final week is:

Once again, many ex-champions appear in the Roll of Honour (above) but there is one name who has never (to my knowledge) claimed the MM Links Crown. I therefore have great pleasure in announcing miss meg as our worthy champion for the month of December and she will set the words to be linked in the New Year. Anyone who can help me to establish an email link with miss meg will be much appreciated.

My sincere thanks to our very own Snow Queen, Lady Slaney, and may she return safely to AB-Land.

Well crofter, I didn't score very well at all this month, so, well done to all of the top scorers, and an especial hoorah goes to miss meg. We look forward to hearing from you in the New Year. Thanks to Lady Slaney</b) too for setting the links -- I wasn't on your wavelength at all. I am envious of your Antarctic trip -- it is somewhere that I have longed to go to for a long while (I'll just have to keep on saving the pennies !).

Good grief!!
After reading the above I have been gripped by total panic!!
I confess to not being very computer literate and have no idea how to establish an e mail link short of posting mine on here. Is that a good idea?
If somebody could give me some advice I would be very grateful.

Happy New Year everybody from the Scotia Sea approaching Elephant Island. I'm still somewhat stunned and in wonder from the sights seen in gen2 land ( (South Georgia)
