i-friend laptop need various drivers ie graphic card ect

hi does anyone know where i can get the drivers for the onboard graphics card, pci modem and various others for a i-friend laptop 2ghz pentium 256mb ram and 20b h/d?? I have been to their website but they ask for the model number, and serial number. I have none of those as i have bought the laptop from ebay and i perfrormed a full format to get rid of all the previous owners stuff and installed xp pro.

Model and serial number should be on a label stuck to the underside of the laptop - it won't get wiped by a format!

Ah! But if the previous owner has taken the label off your pretty knackered lol! Thats the problem there is no label and i have contacted the previous owner and he tells me that there was no label there when he got it!

There must be a maker's name & model number somewhere, though it must be a very old machine to have a 20 byte hard disk :-)

all it says is i-friend on the top and on the back there used to be a label but its been taken off or whatever. Its a 20gb hard drive lol! This is a great website btw! just found it 2day and i cant leave it alone lol. Been surfing it for about 6 hours now! But please any one who either has a i-friend laptop with the same details as above check what your graphix card is and let me know or is there anyone out there can help me pls!!!

I had the same problem recently with a motherboard.  I wrote down all the important looking number sequences I could see on the motherboard, fed them into Google as that number sequence and 'Hey Presto'.  It found all the details i.e. drivers for the display, modem, sound etc.  Good Luck.
