ooh - I remember knobby leg... we got a warning last time I think!!
Worst - 3 weeks with the out-laws in Majorca (I know that sounds selfish but I'm 40! having to go to bed at 9 every evening (on my own) was a bit much!)
Best - Can't think of a best.. maybe my Divorce next year will herald a party and that will be it..
Hmm...the best was my getting a fab placement re: my new career/course of study...
and the worst....was maybe not being in touch with an old friend :-(
sounds like you have had a bit of a crap year max?
Best - going to New York, something I've always wanted to do and it didn't disappoint me in the slightest.
I have to say getting my animals as well. I've always had hamsters but my cat just gives me so many special moments.
When I'm lying in bed at night before I go to sleep and he comes and curls up to me and purrs and just sounds so content, life can just never seem that bad.
Worst - my relationship breaking up, even though it was for the best, and all that came with it.
Worst - the poor mite being rushed into hospital three weeks later with pneumonia and things being decidedly touch and go for a few days. Happily, thanks to being a tough little cookie and the care of fantastic hospital staff, she made a full recovery and is now a healthy, happy 8 month old bundle of fun. :-)
2008 has been a so so year for me, my best moment was seeing my daughter graduate with a Law degree, my worst was seeing my son so unhappy when his girlfriend left him and having my dear old cat puss put to sleep.
Worst moments...going down to theatre for spinal surgery, breaking my foot while still recovering from the op and then having a nasty fall and bashing myself up from head to foot.
Best moment...being able to walk again without incredible pain, a plaster cast and crutches!
I've had one or two not so good moments but, in the grand scheme of things when I consider what's really important, nothing that I can really complain about.
