Life is back to normal now, no more extra opening hours, most of the excess food has been eaten and just a few bottles of wine and spirits to plough through, can't say I'm not relieved, it's been a long month. Anyone else glad to be back to the mundane??

I will be, my kids have autism and cannot fathom christmas and the changes of routine, we will all be glad to get back to mundane normality!

we've just started on the Christmas cake tonight, that happens every year, we treat it as a decoration over Christmas lol
Me too with the cake Dotty, it looked too pretty to cut into it over Christmas!

Personally, I don't want to go back to normal. January is a dismal month. I can understand why others might welcome normality again though.

Happy New Year to you Dot xx
Hi dot, sorry I've not managed to get up to see you yet but I will sort something soon :)

Will be nice to see everyone at work. Met one today for coffee but not seen the others since the 23rd so will be nice to catch up as we all get on so well.

I have some lovely clients too and do miss some of the regular ones I have (I do legal stuff incase anything takes that the wrong way lol), some of them even texted me on Christmas Eve all the way from New Zealand and it's lovely when you get on so well.
One week on and thinking whether all the fuss, worrying, shopping. money spent, food eaten and left was worth it. Every year I swear I'll never go mad again, but every year I do. I know in 11 months time I will start all over again. Happy New Year to everyone.
