Too cold, busy and expensive to go out and it's actually been really nice seeing it in myself , well and the animals, and looking forward to the year to come.

I have munchies, drinkies and singing along to Elton John on the TV after seeing him live the other week.

I am content :)

Poor Heathcliffe is being upset by all the fireworks so will go to bed after seeing the new year in so he can cuddle up under the duvet with me me feels safer.

I'm alone tonight 'cos I'm too stingy to share this bottle of good quality claret with anyone else. In a similar vein of stinginess, I'll open the front door in a minute or so, in order to enjoy the fireworks (free of charge) that others in this street have paid for.
