vacuum cleaner

My sister wants to buy an upright vacuum cleaner - anybody recommend one light to lift but great suction - thanks for any replies

although it isnt an upright i have recently bought a miele cat + dog which i can highly recommend. When i first took it out of the box i thought it was too small and light to be very good but i cant fault it and would recommend it to anyone. I have had upright dysons for several years previously and they are very awkward and really do not suck well at all in comparison.

We got one from Argos the other day. Its on sale at �48.89 and its really light and powerful at picking up. Its a Samsung.
