We had a gas hob fitted by a Corgi registered fitter. He said he'd send off for the Corgi certificate and we would receive it in the post, however, we've heard nothing and he doesn't return our calls (we think he may have gone bust as one number is disconnected). How can we get a certificate from Corgi now?

to be honest i don't think you can get a certificate now has i for one would not be happy certifying someone elses work.
i would do you a gas safety certificate if you requested one i.e. i would examine the appliance and certify it was safe but i would not register it with corgi as i did not install it.
