Can you prove it please

In 1991 which Last of the Summer Wine Character was
accused of creating a bad image for elderly people. Compo is the obvious answer but I can't prove it . Any of the three scallys, as well as Howard or Marina or Norah Batty (god rest her) could fit the bill, it depends what angle the article was coming from. I have depleted my ideas... any suggestions. Glad you're not feeling miffed, 'cos I like a good debate, but I hate bad feelings. As you say, life's too short to bicker, although I quite like a bit of harmless banter on here (in the right category, mind).
