Same as eash, dust then hoover. I've never noticed dust on the furniture when I've hoovered. I know someone who dusts before and after hoovering but she's a case!
Well I have alwas hoovered then dusted . Which my daughters also do but there friends have said they do it the other way round. I wonder how many more ladies would like to tell us what they do. We will have to have a vote on it.!!
If you dust when the sun pours through the window you'll notice all the dust flying around in the sun beam, however when you hoover while the sun pours in there isn't any dust flying about. I suppose lilac if you use furniture spray (I never do) the dust will stick to the duster and not fly about. It's an interesting thread as I don't know anybody personally who hoovers before they dust, except the 'case' but she does both and she's french! Could it be a regional thing? I was brought up in the north of England.
Dust then hoover was what was taught in schools years ago, and I believe is the correct way, as as others have said, dust falls to the floor and is then cleared by the hoover.
Well I hoover every day and dust once in a blue moon!!
Dust then hoover. Notice when you dust the amount of dirt that can build up. If you dust this on the floor which we all do would it makes sense to hoover then throw dirt on the floor. Is this a bet with your daughter! lol
