Seed needs to be stored in a dry lightly ventilated coolish vermin-proof area and should preferably between 1 and 15 months old. Fresher and it may scour, older and the goodness starts to deteriorate. Besides, if you're buying online the freight will probably be more than what you would save.
Perhaps you can find a parrot society in your area who may be able to direct you to a local breeder who will accommodate your needs every 3 months or so.
There is no one diet for all Greys, it all depends on how often it gets exercise. If it lives mainly in a cage it may be worth considering (I hate to say this) pelleted food, this is formulated with enough vitamins and minerals to keep the bird in good health physically and prevent it becoming obese.

Thanks for your advice wildwood, ive always bought her the big sacks from a local pet food supplier for a good deal but he sadly died, the parrot is 27 so it hasnt done her any harm in eating it for all these years but i appreciate your concern and understand what your saying,i was also told by a woman who works in my local petshop not to feed her monkey nuts as these are bad for parrots but i too told her the parrots age and that shes been eating these since a baby as part of her diet and is still in remarkable health and will probably out live me you and the petshop worker lol,i think as humans we can be a bit to picky sometimes,my parrot doesnt just eat parrot food she eats a lot of human food and loves almost anything that we do,but if she doesnt like what we got on the plate then she wont ask for any haha shes crazy. thanks anyway.
