I recently re-booted by PC, & when i was transferring data from DVD's to the PC the speed at which they transferred slowed right down (for no reason).

Now when i am still burning/ripping CD's & othe files it is extremely slow & i don't know how to speed it up.

Any help?

Rebooting is merely turning your computer off and on again. I assume that what you actually mean is that you re-installed Windows. If this is the case, you will also need to re-install the motherboard drivers, and any other device drivers that were installed.
