Jamie Oliver, in the television advert, takes his perfectly roasted garlic and rosemary potatoes out of the oven and the rosemary still looks fresh. How come mine looks burnt? Does anyone know his secret?

I know what you mean. Done for the camera I expect. The fresh will be put on afterwards.
Agree with bugs makes it look good!!!
in italy, they always made sure it was wet first. (by running under the tap)
And also to drizzle oil over the potatoes, and turn every so often.

Thanks for the tips, Crisgal & Ice.
I always do these potatoes - even if you keep the rosemary underneath and protected, it still burns! I now take the majority of it out 15 mins before end and put fresh stuff in, just for reasons of presentation!
He probly put his in near the end. Try to remember they show how they do it and then they bring out one prepared ealier. Mine don't come out burn't.
You could try adding them later while cooking. Dried rosemary burns but fresh should not
