Things happening in threes!

The saying that things always happen in threes, or words to that effect, must be true.

In one week, our telly, tumble dryer & washing machine have all gone on the blink!

Does this often happen to anyone else?

Hi Octavius - no, but I wish it was.

We've been hanging onto our TV knowing the tube is on its way out (pinky screen at times), but now the picture takes forever to appear when switching on - so time for a nice new replacement.

The tumble dryer still looks as new as the day we bought it, but the drum has been grinding & screeching its way round & rubbing on the inside, making it as sharp as a razor blade, ready to rip the clothes apart - so time for a replacement.

The washing machine, also bought at the same time & looks as good as new, has started making wierd graunching noises when emptying & although it's still doing its job today - if it carries on the way it's going - it'll soon be time for a replacement too!

Oh & to top it all - I was just going out of the door to the launderette, to use their tumble dryer & it immediately started pouring down with rain & hailstones. You can't win!

I think I'll pop round to my daughters instead & use hers until our new one is delivered! Happy days! :0)

And did you know that if a fourth thing happens - it's not a fourth, but the start of a new set of three!

well, it happened to Jim Callaghan, the pope and Prince Rainier, and the dishwasher's sounding odd.

I find it often happens with beer. You have the one,. next thing you know..it's three. So you have another beer, next thing you know..another three!

Yes it starts of first thing in the morning I put on my two socks my boxers and they sag down.Thats Now thats a start.Have a good day
