what happened in the last episode of "help" starring paul whitehaous and chris langham?

The main events were that Monty the cab driver turned up to say that his wife had died: "You never liked her,  did you, Peter?". This was really touching, and beautifully done. All the usual characters were around and the therapist still hoped to date his secretary - wrong! The man with the blonde wife arrived at the end saying that she was about to join him to see the therapist together. They waited, waited, waited, waited and waited. Suddenly she arrived saying that she'd had traffic trouble, and all was well. This was very clever because they had completely convinced the viewer that she'd let her husband down.

A great series.
