Bensmum - it's definitely the monosodium glutamate (MSG) - it's prevalent in chinese cookery and makes everything taste (to me) really salty, plus I get a splitting headache from it. Beware, it's also found in a lot of savoury flavoured snacks (crisps, pringles, etc) and may also be called *flavour enhancer*
Tonight, I am chilling out - been seriously busy today (clearing out a room ready for decorating tomorrow), just a few more shelves of books to shift and then I can relax and have my dinner (takeaway, but an Indian meal hehe).
