Have they been scientifically proven (not the hoax ones of course) - I have heard theories of magnetic forces - if this is the case - why in such complex patterns such as Julias? Why are they still appearing in fields in such huge, complex formations and is there a on-going project still looking into them?

They have been scientifically proven to be man made

but the "fairy rings" or whatever you want to call them - where you have a ring of really green, lush grass surrounding a fairly dead area - are natural phenomena caused by certain fungi

yep, sequin all man made. I've even hear that farmers will 'commission' a circle and then charge people who think they where done by LGM to look at them!
