An ogre wants to marry a princess but the King will not allow it. The princess begs him so he calls the ogre to his palace grounds. He opens a small velvet bag and picks two stones off the ground. He tells the ogre that he will put one white stone and one black stone in the bag and if the ogre picks the black one out he can marry his daughter. However the king only puts two white stones in the bag.
The ogre sees this but doesn't want to say anything. How can the ogre still win.

The ogre tells the King to take the first pick and he will have whichever stone is left in the bag??

He withdraws a stone and instantly drops it into those on the ground and is lost. To know what color it was they must look at the stone remaining in the bag...
