More Answerbank Improvements

There was a Q posted not so long back about improvements for the Answerbank, thought I'd re-open the discussion with....

How about a "Who's logged in" section so you can see who else is about when you're on the site

Oh and btw, I still think a My Questions and My Answers function that I suggested previously would be the single best improvement... any more for anymore?

A new section entitled "Quizes" or "Trivia" allowing people to post their quiz questions without clogging up other sections

Why don't you suggest these answers to the answerbank editor? Go to the "contact us" link at the bottom

I am aware of how to contact the Editor, however I thought it might be more in keeping with the site to discuss these things, so that the editor can guage people's opinions of different ideas (and anyway who says I haven't contacted the Ed?!)

Ive already suggested this to mikewith, but we could really use page numbers at the end of the 20 recent questions. The website is getting popular by the day and 20 questions are no longer adequate. A question of interest disappears pretty quickly leading to a laborious search for it. Thats it from me.

How about a search for users. So that you can have a look at all your previous answers and questions. Yea I know "Obo" suggested somthing similar, this is just another way of doing it.

Definitely needs a more powerful and variable search function (eg. can at the very least enable searches based on user name and/or subject and/or content in answer fields). Answers really need to be kept in order of response - some threads are just impossible to follow. And please, can they fix whatever it is that makes the first word after a URL append to the URL. Oh, the same for the beginning of some URLs (that target = blank thing).

How about a 'good reply league list using the star ratings; it would encourage intelligent answers. Also, I agree with Beenee; A question of interest disappears pretty quickly leading to a laborious search for it. i still think a system a la ebay rating would appeal to the majority of regulars along with a members on line and guests online counters would be handy and how's about a members only (3 months and over) chat room?????
