hi all, I bought curtains yesturday they are too long, but I cant find the reciept, If I cant find any in my size can I have a refund cheers

Have to agree with Ethel, no disrespect to anyone on here but I think 80% of the country as a whole get 'your' and 'you're' mixed up. I have to try not to notice it as our old English teacher left us in NO uncertain terms how to use the word!

problem solved I went searching in the bin and found the reciept, and by the way they were from argos

A couple of points here - no most shops do not put the receipt in the bag - they put the receipt in your hand and bung your change on top like some crazy balancing act.

It's a good habit to 'file' your receipts in your purse or wallet til you get home. At Xmas gather all gift receipts in an envelope and put in a safe, and memorable place.

And as for T K Maxx. Was a favourite of mine til they wanted 20p for a carrier to protect a big lampshade from the rain. Served at customer service cos not one till in the whole shop, 2 floors, was manned. Refused to budge til I got a free bag.........and they say it is all to help the environment. Their own website says they have cut back 50% on bags so they are saving a bit as well ......

Hmmm, interesting to read TK Maxx comments. I bought a top for my daughter for Christmas on the 4th December, and they told me then that there was a 14 day policy for refunds, yet they gave me a refund the day before yesterday! I was expecting a credit note. But there was no quibbles at all...
And here their bags are 15p... strange...
Careful with the curtains - I know most shops won't change/refund if you have drawn the strings up at all...
