Want to unblock a site - proxy needed?
7 Answers
I'm trying to watch an online episode of The Office US on NBC.com but the site won't let me view it. I think it's because I'm from Ireland and perhaps only americans can view the videos on the site but I'm not sure. I'm wondering is there a proxy site I could use that would let me watch the video or is there any other way to do it? If anyone want to try it the exact link is http://www.nbc.com/The_Office/video/categories /the-outburst/843542/ I've gotten to this page using a few proxies but cannot seem to get to the actual video itself. Any help appreciated.

Avoid links to Hulu and any of the major US TV companies - they will all tell you that you aren't allowed to watch from the UK.
Megavideo will let you watch around 70 mins per day without paying (and if memory serves, it throws up a pop-up window usually for Party Poker, but close the window and click on the play key anyway), Ninjavideo can be slow sometimes and requires you to use their video helper (not a download) especially for Divx format programmes.
Some of the other sites (like Ydio) can be slow, and be wary of some of the sites which include things like "watchtheoffice" in their names.
