Is it a gravity filled system? probably will be as pressurised don't suffer as badly for sludge. If you have trouble with this get in a plumber, they will charge about 200 plus for this service. One other thing if you are doing it yourself make sure you have a hose for the waste water as it will be filthy and needs to go straight down the drain. Once youve done this close the spiggots turn on your water, let the system refill and then bleed all the rads thoroughly, that should cure the problem.

About as much as yours did no.knowledge!! A power flush is the only answer I think to your problem. As for the problem of no.knowledge, anyone have a solution for that? Maybe a compression fitting! Mind you I have heard that AGA's are very under rated. PS I don't recommend the radiators off procedure unless your v carefull. There should always be one radiator in your house that doesnt have a stat on it just in case all the others are closed and they do tend to stick every so often, so be carefull.
