credit crunch or not?

Is anybody out there suffering in anyway because of the credit crunch or are we just being brainwashed by the media and govournment.Just dont notice im any worst of than a year ago?

Not a lot, just noticed a rise in my gas bill and a dramatic one at that!

it will be more noticable this year when there are a lot more job losses, houses in the area have dropped dramatically in price as well

I am lucky i am still employed and dont anything for granted,noticed slight increases in alot of things!!!!

It is very much being made worse by the media, yes there are alot of job losses in many sectors, but public confidence is being undermined by the headlines.
The other day we had a meetiong at work and were told that the company had predicted a 6 month figure of 4m less than the saem time last year, when it was announced it was 3.5m down on last year, and that was the news focus, what they didnlt say is that the company had taken 3.5 million less than last year, but still made a profit as they had sold less product at a higher price due to less aggressive discounting and so profitability was up!!!!
Its really annoying that the news bulletins mislead and misinform
