As well as milly1984, I have also been victim to imposters. Can you not change the font of usernames or something so that people can tell the difference between an I and L in lower case. I don't want everyone thinking I post horrible questions.

sadly, you are still being imposted - see the question above this one. What beats me is why. If AB ever starts a topic called HEY WEIRDOS GET A LIFE, I shall post a question.

I agree with your suggestion, as everyone with L's in their name are at risk of being imposted. Maybe the usernames could all be shown in bold?

Yeah its quite true that if all these imposters start asking dirty questions I shall not log in anymore. Its getting ridiculous.

On many sites to stop this happening, all user names (however you format them) are rendered in lower case. That stops it!

This business of changing lower case L to a capitol I (and visa versa) happened some time back and my username was all lower case.
The cure... I was able to change my name to capitol 'L's, but this facility has been stopped to prevent people changing their name every other day, as some did just for the fun of it and to antagonise other users of the site.
