Spend it or save it?
79 Answers
I got 500 yesterday.
Should I spend it on *me* or should I save it just in case I cannot make a mortgage payment if I'm made redundant?
Bear in mind I have guaranteed wages until the 2nd week in March and I will have redundancy money too, if I don't pick up another job.
If you say spend it, what should I buy?
p.s. This is my first CB post of 2009 :o)

I received a Watersyones gift card for Christmas, strangely enough, I've thought of the perfect way to use it LOL
LOL Queenie, if I was putting it in a car fund, it would be for the Aston x

the second one has greater magnification, the first one my son had a few years ago as his first one, he did use it alot and though he found it a bit unsteady sometimes, he learnt about the calculations and the changing lenses. He spent alot of time studying the constelayions so that he could set out to find what he wanted to look at, he's quite scientifically minded anyway and understand weather which helps lol
Excellent, I wouldn't say I'm particularly scientifically minded but I have watched and read enough about both the weather and space (wetaher fascinates me too, I'd love to go tonado chasing LOL) to (hopefully) get by.
You really can't go wrong with Nat Geo, so I'm going to head to Argos and treat myself. As it happens, I'm just having a coffee and heading to Next for a 'nice interviewing outfit' and Argos is right next door :o)
Thanks you for your help, Dot, I might have to shout on your son later LOL xx
