ever had a song thats moved you to the point of taking action? thats my question. if yes can you name the song and what it made you do or pursuaded you to do. mines is 'Give it Away' By Deepest Blue - and it made me realise how its not always worth getting worked up about somethings and to just let them go...a girl in my case who kept screwing me over yet i continued to look out for her. cheers guys

Maroon 5 - She will be loved. i'm not exactly sure why this song moves me, but i always get that stomach in your mouth feeling when I hear it!
This might not be what you're looking for, but Jupiter, the bringer of jollity from the planet suite, written by Holst, and Land of Hope and Glory, written by Elgar. They just make me feel proud to be English (if played right).
Easily, Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah. It's just beautiful, anyone who's heard it will know what i'm talking about. As well as that, anything by Crowded House is pretty moving. Neil Finn doesn't just write songs, it's really poetry.
This is possibly the saddest answer yet, ( coming from an eclectic but particularly indie fan) but as far as moving, then "lets go fly a kite" from Mary Poppins does it everytime.
Well!  Although it may well not be P.C. at the moment, "Earth Song" by Michael Jackson certainly makes you think, doesn't it?

your answer just made me smile curiosity. I am a sucker for musicals too and there are loads of songs from annie which have be reaching for the tissues!
