i didn't see the first series - do you think it would matter if i started watching now? Have i missed too much important stuff?

series 3 is about start on ITV...i missed series 1 but watched the second and followed it fine.

Series 1 & 2 are out on DVD I think ..... also, I wouldn't be surprised if they did a resume at the start of the 3rd series on sunday.
