3 pin plug adaptor

Can anyone help - my friend has bought an electrical item from Italy and it needs an adaptor.  It has a 3 pin plug of the Italian type, presumably the rounder pins.  She can't seem to find one anywhere.  Cheers.

You can get them in most luggage shops, and definitely , the airport.

It's a lot cheaper to cut off the Italian plug and put a British one on

Sequin is it wired up the same way as ours'?

Should be brown=live, blue=neutral which have been in UK plugs for years (note changes to main supply - Harminsation - are in effect now so that all europe uses the same colour wiring) Italian electrical equipment should have the same combo as per the IEE new regs.
