Round the world trips

What would be the rough cost of a round the world trip along the lines of:

London - Malaysia - New Zealand - Pacific islands - LA - New York - London?

That is a tricky question, and would be very dependent on your time and class of travel, duration, hotel requirements, etc.

my brother did more or less the same trip through www.bridgetheworld.com, go to 'round the world route planner', this was the cheapest flights he found and he searched for months, so must be a good one!

by the way he still talks about it every day and its 4 years since he went, you'll have a fab time!

I did that exact trip (more or less) going last january, after jan 15th the tickets go down in price and are at their lowest, mine was about 880 pounds excluding VAT, I got one which enabled me to travel on Virgin, Singapore Air and New Zealand (brilliant airlines by the way!)
