Some people would balk at paying �50 for a pair of any shoes, others are quite happy to pay a lot more, for non-designer gear. Some people don’t mind paying full price; others love to bargain on e-bay.
You could always go by the cost per wear, but being someone who loves shoes there is also the additional feel good factor to add into the equation.
I’ve never bought a pair of Paul Smith shoes, simply because I don’t have the money, but if I did, I would. My husband spent over �200 on a pair from one of his stores and he still says they’re the best shoes he’s ever had.
