I was reading an article in a magazine a little while back & she said that although she was still reeling from being 'forced out' of Countdown, she had plenty of other work lined up - but she didn't say what?

No doubt we'll see her again on a home improvement programme!

She has a business that creates Suduko puzzles and has released PlayStation game, she also has a property business in the Caribbean, Spain and the Bahamas - Carol Vorderman's Overseas Homes Ltd

She writes school text books such as Maths Made Easy and has magazine columns.

She is patron of a few charities including the Cleft Lip and Palate Association, and don't forget her detox books.

I don't think Carol will be on the breadline for a while.

Hopefully she will be kept off our TV screens for the forseeable future.

I have always found her humourless brayling laugh stratospherifcally irritating, and I never watched Countdown, but for a while she popped up on everything.

Her departure from Countdown was greeted as though it was the death of the Queen, so I won't pine for her at all.
