Whats the most stupidest thing that you've ever done whilst drunk and not remembered about until someone told you the next day?  I once went to the toilet in the garage across the road from my house after a heavy drinking session on a fridayand my friend who weorked there let me use the toilet in the car showroom where I then proceeded to fall into all these expensive cars before falling over and damaging my wrist when I finally got to the toilet.  It took me until the Tuesday morning to buy a paper to discover my wrist was so painful, very funny now though!

Pulled a bloke and went back to his house.  You see thats not so unusual however when i woke up the next morning a little worse for wear i tried to find my way out of the house.  i was being careful to creep down the stairs and somehow i knew that i was in a town house and i knew the way down.  it was all too familar layout.

Anyway, as off my head as i still was i got to the front door and let myself out.  As i walked out i looked left and saw my boyfriends (aha.. yes i had one of those !) dad getting into his car and going to work.  he looked at me, with my unbrushed hair and half dressed state, and shouted for my boyfriend who was in the house.  he came out and asked why i was in this lads house !

subsequently i was single that day !   but it makes me laugh when i think of it.

Went up and down all the corridors of a Majorcan hotel at 3.00am knocking at every single door and shouting at the top of my voice 'morning everybody - time to get up'.

Apparently then lay on the bed for hours complaining that the window wouldn't keep still.

Oh to be young again!

Way back in 1963, we spent a night out in London with  two friends. We were so drunk, missed the last train & ended up sleeping in the deck chairs at Hyde Park.

When we woke up in the morning, we hadn't realised we'd been sleeping under a great big tree & the birds had been crapping on us all night. We were absolutely covered in bird sh!t & had to get a train home looking like that!

We were originally all dressed up in smart dark clothes, but looked like we'd been to a fancy dress party - we got some very funny looks!

LOL Smudge!

Sweet 16, eh!

No matter how drunk I've ever been and how stupid and / or embarrassing things I've done I've always been able to remember it all. Unfair, unlucky and embarrassing.

Yes those were the days eh FP!

We were all 'Mods' then & so proud of our 'fab' clothes - until the morning!

Ooh Smudge, I was more inclined towards the 'Rockers'

Just think Smudge, we could have had a fight on the beach at Southend!!

LOL FP - Or in Brighton - as in the Quadrophenia film - ha, ha!

smudge - up till now I thought you were a really nice person !
How could you not be a rocker ? !

LOL silly moo - I was too 'smart' to be a rocker - clothes wise of course & loved the sound of the Vespa & Lambretta.

I loved motorbikes too (Dad had one & a car), but I couldn't bare all the greasy spoon stuff that went with it!

I've still got my Pakamac tucked away in the loft!

Smudge, did you wear those little twinsets and calf length skirts that the mods wore?  ;o).  I was in my jeans even in those days!  However, I preferred the beatnik style clothes and used to make all my own!

FP - I did indeed have different coloured twin-sets. My best friend bought me a white one for my 17th birthday too!

I used to wear them with above the knee length skirts  too - I felt like the bees knees! Happy memories!

P.S. I've worn Mini's/Midi's & Maxi's throught the years too!

We have diverted from the subject Smudge.  Perhaps a question about clothing through the ages might be a good idea.  As for minis, noone could have worn them much shorter than I did - my father was horrified.

LOL - so were my Mum & Dad!

My skirts were so short, I remember having to squat to pick something up, rather than bend over!

If only we could post photo's on here - we'd have a field day!
