or check the paper deeds. (If there's a mortgage on the property, your lender may have these. They'd probably provide a photocopy but they might charge a hefty fee).

If none of those methods work, you might have to wait until later this year. One of the obvious places to try would have been Hull City Archives but their service is temporarily closed until this summer, when the new Hull History Centre opens on Mason Street.
