Sinus query.
6 Answers
My nephew has had the most awful headache for 3 days now, only on one side of his head. And he feels sick. The doctor has diagnosed a sinus infection. Can a sinus infection only affect one side of the head? If not, what are the other likely causes. I am personally going with migraine. He is only 10 but his Mum started with migraines when she was 10. I'm just not happy with it being sinuses, not that I am an expert.

Shouldn't have such pain in head after this length of time. My mum suffers with sinus trouble and yes, she does get such a headache and cold like symptoms, but once on her nasal spray this lifts. As before, take him back to docs, and query migrane with them. (docs can get it wrong too!! no-one is perfect). Hope all goes well.
