You simply need 'bog-standard' 3-core 13A mains cable, e.g:

While you can make your own, is it worth it? In Morrisons you can get two 4-socket gang leads for �3 - probably cheaper than the bits you buy!

The cable you need if your making your own leads must be of at least 1.5mm 3 core flex as this will be rated at 13 amps whereas if the cable has a smaller CSA, Cross Sectional Area, then the fuse in the plug top but be reduced to protect from causing a fire...
