Ipod download error- Please Help!

Hi, I downloaded video onto my Ipod yesterday. Problem is it wiped our all my tunes (over a thousand!)
Please help!

Do you mean the tunes on your ipod or in your itunes?

Sorry it wiped out the tunes on my ipod and itunes.
Absolute nightmare. i have been looking since 7 this morning. cant believe it!

They should still be in your computer, have you done a search?
click start- search- all files and folders- type the name of one of your songs, or singer- click search.
If you find out where the files are, I believe you can send them back to Itunes.
This is for XP, don`t know if Vista is the same.

It is the same.

Start - documents - on the left there should/might be a folder for itunes and itunes music.

Open it and send them back over.
