Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Tell me, Beatrice35, how exactly your answers helped Matakari? Why give an educated guess when there are others who will give the answer? What do you achieve except to perplex the questioner? Stay out of answering cryptic questions for the sake of those who are asking questions, if you will not do it for yourself.

Thanks for the help again, Slaney! And I appreciate Beatrice's honesty and perseverance. I, too, am kinda new at this type of cryptic and glad to learn the ropes, so I am getting confodence om those who know! Thanks much! I have a few more clues to work out...I'll be back if I run into difficulty!

Hi Bea,
I do think it is good of you to try and help and understand that it helps you as well but maybe you need to make it more clear that you are not sure you are correct and haven't actually been doing that crossword yourself. I have been most frustrated at times when I am given a wrong answer and it throws my whole crossword.
Perhaps you can help on the ones you are doing?
