is december an ok month for skiing in europe? would there be good snow that time of year? thanks

hard to predict, but often not really. The later you go the more reliable it is. Some winters are snowy, some less so. You might have better luck in Scandinavia, further north, but I suspect you mean the Alps?

This season there was snow in both the Alps and the Pyrenees in November so December was a good month but other years there's been hardly anything even over Christimas. The higher the station the better especially if they use snow canons.
