I'm not sure what you mean when you say you have no contract. How long have you been working for your employer? I would have thought there was some form of contract in place even if you haven't signed one.
The amount of redundancy pay depends on whether statutory terms apply or whether your employer has enhanced terms.

It isn't sensible to volunteer for redundancy for the minimum entitlement - the statutory redundancy amounts are triflingly small.
We need to know your age and how many years continuous service you have to tell you what the statutory amounts are.
The point of thugulike's question is that you are not entitled to redundancy until you have completed 2 years' service.
