power surge causd electricity cut
I had a powercut today for 6 hours an my freezer defrosted. When i calld insurance co they said I was not covered as I dont have 'power breakers' ?? On my main appliances! I didnt know that was needed, seems my new laptop caused a power surge. Can I dispute?

If power breakers had been fitted there wouldnt of been a total failure, possibly power breakers are a clause in the policy !!
Looking at it like that you can see where the insurance company is coming from. Also find it odd a laptop would cause a powersurge, where did this info come from ?
