I'm hoping someone can help me.I have been going to the gym every morning and doing a 40 minute workout. Is this as effective as going 3 times a week for 1-1.5 hours at a time? Idon't know what's best?
It really depends what your workout consists of and what you are trying to achieve. If it's just general fitness, then 20-30 minutes of Cardiovascular exercise, where you keep your heartrate up for that time, is sufficient if carried out three times per week.
Thank you both. I do the exercise bike, running machine and rowing machine every other day and I do a body pump class on the other days. I am trying to get a bit fitter and to tone up after losing a lot of weight.
