The engine electronic light came on last week on my Vauxhall zafira.The front oxygen sensor was replaced after it was diagnosed as faulty and warning light was out but the light came back and stayed on after 3 days.What could have caused this.The car still drives normal but I am worried I might damage the cat if the lamda sensor is faulty.Please can someone help me

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.the chances are its the mass air flow sensor ( i assume its petrol ) its a common problem, my son-in-laws 1.8 Zafira has just had its second one fitted, only seem to last about 35,000 mile.
The worrying thing is as with yours the fault code (on a genuine Vaux tech2 system) showed oxy / lamba sensor which was fitted and made no difference..Speak to someone in the know and they will tell you ignore the code fit a mass sensor 1st.
